For host sites

A machine at your site, looked after by us.

We place new machines at sites with steady foot traffic: airports, offices, malls, campuses, hospitals and factories. We install, stock and service them. There's no cost for the machine, installation, stocking or service. Your site provides the floor space, a standard outlet and access for our visits.

Placement

How placement works.

  1. We visit

We look at the space, the foot traffic and the power supply, and suggest machines that fit.

  2. We agree terms

We set out the arrangement in a short written agreement, including what your site receives.

  3. We install

We deliver and install the machines and set up the card readers.

  4. We run it

We restock, clean and service the machines, and handle refunds for customers.

Arrangements

Three arrangements.

Most sites choose the first. The other two suit sites that want to own part or all of the machine.

Option A

ArcVane owns and operates

We buy, install and run the machine. There's no cost for the machine, installation, stocking or service. Your site provides the floor space, a standard outlet and access for our visits. Your site receives a share of net sales, agreed per site.

Option B

Your site buys, ArcVane services

Your site owns the machine and keeps its sales. We service it for a fixed monthly fee, with supplies invoiced monthly, showing what each one cost.

Option C

Shared setup

Your site pays part of the setup cost and receives that same share of the net proceeds. We run the machine either way.

What your site provides.

  • A spot on the floor, about the size of a large fridge
  • A standard power outlet nearby
  • Access for our service visits

What we provide.

  • The machine, delivered and installed
  • Restocking, cleaning and repairs
  • Card payments, and refunds for customers
  • One contact for anything to do with the machine

Proposal under review

A regional international airport

Self-serve coffee for an airport terminal.

We have proposed a TapCup coffee machine for the main terminal of a regional international airport. Our proposal and draft agreement are with the airport's management.

ArcVane owns and runs the machine. The airport provides the space and the power, and pays nothing.

Questions

Questions from host sites.

How long is the agreement?

Term, notice and exclusivity are set out in each site's written agreement. We agree them with you before the machine is installed.

Can we have the machine removed?

How removal works, and the notice needed, is set out in each site's written agreement.

Is it exclusive?

Exclusivity is set per site. Term, notice and exclusivity are set out in each site's written agreement.

How often do you visit?

We visit on a regular schedule to restock, clean and service the machine. How often depends on the machine and how fast it sells. Coffee machines, for example, need cleaning at least twice a week, even when quiet.

What if sales are low?

When ArcVane owns and operates the machine, your share is smaller, but there's still no cost for the machine, installation, stocking or service. If your site buys the machine or shares the setup, low sales mean a longer payback, so check the numbers first. Estimate your earnings

Who handles refunds and breakdowns?

For machines we run, we do. Customers scan the QR card on the machine or use the help form on our site, and we refund them or fix the problem, usually within one business day. Card refunds go back to the card used to pay. Machine help or refund

What do we need to provide?

Floor space about the size of a large fridge, a standard power outlet nearby, and access for our service visits. Some machines need more, such as a dedicated circuit for a floor-standing coffee machine. We check the space and the power supply when we visit.
